I just got off the phone with Greg Watson, owner/operator of the Sea Angler and he told me that Monte Carlo and other local boats are scoring pretty good right now on the barracuda! He said the boats were chasing down diving birds and that the fish were eating jigs. check the dock counts later today.

Early in the season, nobody is ready for barries, everybody is still set up for SWRF. Flylined baits just don't cut it; ususally, its just the DHs that always carry jigsticks
