Great report...and excellent photo support. Plenty of bass pics, but not much on the YT...too busy catching? :) Sounds like a very cool adventure!

    It was brutal....40 knot winds...10 - 12 ft seas at 8 - 10 seconds for 300 miles......

The gray pullover tells you how good the yellows bit.

    Screaming......:)

Dude....It blew me away that you recognized Bush.....:)

That man is one hell of a fishing guide, put us right on the bait and on the yellows...

We took Raul out too for the day he unhooked our sabikis and got in on the fish too, that was a day I'll remember forever....:)

Sorry we did'nt hear you on the radio, would have cool to talk with you....:)

Gene's boat snapped a drive shaft at Geronimo Island, we towed him back to Kelly's and his buddies drove down with the trailer, that was a long trip, then we carried on south....

I'm telling you, screw the fillets....head for 3 days...

Also there are Bloody Deck and fishdope stickers all over vehicles in Cedros....:)

    Dave,

That is the collar and belly flap of a yellowtail......once you've experienced this you would do the same as us....throw the fillets overboard......joking...:)

Probably one of the best things I've eaten in my life, thank you to my buddy Dwercs for sharing this with all of us.....

There is not a fuel dock at Cedros but you can talk to the commercial abalone divers, they had fuel but wanted too much money...

Turtle Bay is about 30 miles from Cedros and has as much fuel and ice as you need, they also take credit cards....
