Mike never know where he is going until he leaves the dock and some times not until the gets to Catalina
You have to remember running a sportboat is'n like running a buss. many times SBI might be blowen out or the current has turned the water cold and Clemente or Catalina is a better choise
He will go where he thinks he has the best chance to make a catch of fish on that given day with the given conditions on that day

The nice thing about these trips (kinda) is the 1/2 and 3/4 day crowd (poles leaning all against the rail) gets to do an teaser overnight trip on the cheap. Kinda like the Indy reverse 1 1/2 they have done of late, just a different demographic.
