5-day trip to Guadalupe Island

I agree 100%If you've never been there you need to go.Like next season,If they close it 100% and you've never been there you missed out on something very special and unique.And Sept is a great time to go there!

Been to Guadalupe 4x, Alijos 3x. I've caught tuna both places, but had more consistent fishing at Alijos. Plus, if tuna meat—not tuna size—is your goal, the Alijos trip gives you a shot at some other spots down there (the Ridge?) that often have packs of school-sized 25-40lb YTF. There is a chance that you might run into the same scenario on the way home from Guadalupe, if we have any kind of warm water year. But I think your tuna odds are better overall on an Alijos run.

Look at the royal star schedule for September its got a few 7 day trips that would give you more options

Okay, I checked out the Royal Star... their 7-day trip mid-September fits my schedule perfectly, and I've heard a number of real good things about the boat and captain(s). From what I've read, the 7-day trips can go to Alijos, so hopefully a smorgasbord of tuna and other fish will be available. Got an email in to them now inquiring about openings, as a couple of work buddies started drooling when I told them I was actually going to go on one of these trips. Thanks again for all the replies and info.
