For Sale Black AVET JX 6/3 2-speed (Frame & Handle only)

Just converted my JX 6/3 2-speed to the MC-Cast version and I have the handle and frame from my original 2-speed reel to sell. These are in great condition with little to no scratches. All moving parts function perfectly and are well oiled and maintained. I can take more pictures if you want more detail.

Pretty simple...if you dont like it, dont buy it. Judging by the condition Ive seen alot of guys reels on alot of boats, im sure plenty of them could use a little facelift, not to mention alot of guys are doing a 2 tone conversion so im sure someone would have an interest and im just trying to offer someone that option for a cheap price as well as help recoup a small portion of what I spent on my conversion. Try calling Avet for a replacement 2-speed JX frame...im sure youll find that my $30 +$5 shipping is hardly a high price.

Stupid question, but if I was to take the spool from my single speed JX, and put it in the frame here, would that work?

Wouldnt do any good he's not including the side plate.

From what I was told by AVET is that the frames for both the 2 speed and single speed reels is identical...the only exceptions are the MC Cast and Raptor frames. So to answer your question, no, the spool by itself wont work but if you took your spool AND single speed housing out of your other frame, you could easily put it in this frame by just removing & replacing 3 screws.
