Tropic Star Lodge Panama
My wife and I joined a group of close friends at the Tropic Star Lodge in Pinas Bay, Panama for some great fishing.
I had never been to Panama before, and wasn't sure what expect, but the lodge took care of everything from Customs to the drinks, and set us up for what can only be described as world class fishing. We caught everything from blue and black marlin to sailfish, dorado, tuna, pompano, snapper and more. It was truly awesome and the mates and captains were great.
Here are a few pics.
The arm brace I'm wearing in the photo was because I decided to break my arm 6 weeks before the trip (last pic), and was just hoping to help catch bait and take photos.
Well that plan changed once we got there.
I’m glad my wife refused to give up this fishing trip even though the doctor said there would be no way that I would be ready to pull on a fish.
I feeling very lucky I was able to catch a few!Last edited by kedd; Oct-02-2008 at 08:34 PM. Reason: More pics

Ouch!
And,
Epic!
The pic of the 2 dorado, one green & yellow and the other blue & silver is great.

I wish I had a good story, but I tried a faster way down the stairs in my home(stone sober), and ouch is correct.
Holding it in place as the wife was driving over pot holes was the worst part.
It should have happened many different way, but no.
