22 years and counting for me as well. I guess I'll have to wait in line. I guess I wouldn't mind being a guest chef on some of the boats.

I've done a bit of galley assistant stuff on a LR trips. It's no cake walk but it's rewarding and you really do learn some great techniques and recipes if you are paired with a cool chef. However, it's hard to walk into these jobs. Not a lot of these Chef/Assistants are willing to give up their jobs. Six years cooking/some deck on an Overnighter hasn't gotten me any closer. Hopefully some day before I graduate school and get a real job
