Great day on the water down here in fish land. We fished Carmen Island, one of my most favorite things to do and I got a few new species. One was a Mexican Lookdown Jack and the other was a warasse of some kind but one of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen. Check the lavender hue to the fins.

I landed barracuda, pargo, barred pargo, cabrilla, lookdown jack, blue and gold snapper, triggerfish, green jack and I'm sure I'm missing one or two.

Used the ION 8wt the majority of the time with a 12lb leader on a Airflo 300 grn Depthfinder. Reel was a Waterworks-Lamson Vanquish 8wt and everything worked great.
