^^Better looking and one third the price too... I believe the Tranx has beefier drags though so it might he able to land heavier fish than the SX?

    1. You can't get 25lbs of drag with an Avet SX. I have no use for a reel (SX) intended for 20lb leader to fish artificials.

    2. The level wind allows you to put more action on the lure with the rod and have a better (more powerful and ergonomically superior) hand position.

    3. You can fish straight 50lb braid easier without a top shot.

    4. Superior cranking power without needing 2 speeds and the ability to crank under high drag settings.

An Avet SX has it's place (lite leader live bait for schoolies or swimbaits to calicos), but the Tranx (which has the nuts of a Trini 16A which I have fished) is in another class (casting artificials to larger models).

Two completely different reels with two completely different applications....

Unless that's a new rod not yet listed, the 70 doesn't come in a XXH. The rod in the pics looks longer than 7' to me with 8 guides plus tip. How many guides are on a 70XH?

After looking at the handle, I bet that is the 7'4" rail rod.
