BASS FISHING @ THE VINE TODAY WAS ...
GOOOD!! Got to the lake around 6 15 am this morning and have heard some decent reports from a few friends. From 7 till about 9 30 I was able to land some jerk bait fish along with a nice spinnerbait fish as well. Once the sun started to come out I backed off the bank into 13-20 ft of water where the drop-shot and texas rig bite was pretty much non-stop. The lake is really dirty with very little visibility at about 58 in a half degrees. All in all a good day and was off the water by noon with about 16 fish...... good luck

Good for you.
It's nice to know that the bass bite is still all right at the Vine.
Thanks for the post.
Where exactly is the water level at the present time?
I heard it was almost up to the campsites below the cleaning station. Is this true?
I guess that means that most everyone will be fishing short leaders during this weekends WON trout tourney.
