Best Eating Fish in So Cal?

A couple of years ago went to Punta Abreojos, fresh Corbina ceviche - on the beach in Baja, with tequila shooter chasers... ah the memories... what I can remember of it, which isn't much...

I used to go there every summer back in the early eighties, great place. Ever think about taking your boat there?

Hmm, I did not see this thread.
I think one of our best tasting fish is no doubt Swordfish. However, they are not readily caught. So I would say next to Swordfish... would be Mako. The meat is somewhat similar in texture and taste. I also really like Bonita. The only fish I have eaten that was as good smoked as salmon.... was Bonita.
