Price of diesel officially keeping me off the water

I was considering going out, since we have favorible tide/moon this weekend, but with the cost of fuel I think I'm gonna pass. Save that gas $$$ for when the water/air are a bit warmer and there's more fish in the area.

I pulled into Pearsons on Sat for 225 gallons of diesel @ $3.01 and was informed that "good thing you came in today as it is going up 20 cents/gal tomorrow and will continue upward for the near future".

I haven't topped off the boat in the US since it diesel went over $2/gallon. 530 gallons lets me wait until I make it down to the Coral againto top her off at $1.80/gal.

Sucks for you guys. Great for us yakkers, as long as the price of my fuel (beer) doesn't skyrocket. I guess there will be less and less stink boats scaring off the fish. Come on $10.00/gallon!
