I haven't been out to the boat in the past few weeks, but I found a couple more pictures of the flushed in transducer and my folding tower>>>>
the first one is how the transducer sits to one side of the keel.

The second is a view of the transducer box from a front to back view

You once mentioned work on an aluminum HYSUCAT. Are you still doing that, or was that someone else's work? I'd like to get more info on that - i you have it.

Jorge, yes I am the guy that is working on building a hysucat. It is 34 x 14' and the autocad plans are over 2/3 done, then I will be building a balswood scale model. Then got to production after that. What are you looking to do? Mty

The work you completed on the XIAO MU JI is very impressive.
Curiousity about what/how you'd do a Cat is what brings me back to this thread.
The wife promised I could buy a boat in 2 years (along with a slew of requirements).

My cat is going to be beyond anyones dreams. I have so much research and advancement in it's design that the auto-CADs and model should make any builders say" WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT" and WOW! Soon to be released!

Thanks for the kind words from all of you. Neill is my hero because he built his boat completely by himself.

I designed most of mine and did all of my finish work from electrical to electronics to cabins, but Neill gets my KUDOs! Marty
