Now that I have some internet here is an update with pictures...

Picoso and the whaler

Hatches painted

Duffy white gelcoat to match the rest of the boat.

Ready for sanding

Installed!

The port side fishbox lid needed a little sanding to fit perfect

Since the glass was a little thin where the screws for the hinges were, we decided to add a little meat to them. Bondo, glass and some gelcoat, looks like it was meant to be.

Aft seat hatch in. Two sheets of 3/4 king starlite

Forward hatch made and ready to go. 3/4" king starboard

Cover for the electronics box buffed and on.

Started on the template for the bilge hatch, i'll finish it tomorrow.

Simple Green'd all the nonskid forward. That stuff works like a charm.

The boat is coming back to Newport on Friday, hoping to splash on Tuesday!

Quick update from the phone (no Internet out here). Boat should be 99% by tomorrow, hoping to tow it back if it isn't too windy. All the touchups on the deck are done, all the hatches are in, the seadek on the bracket is on, this thing is looking SWEET!!! I can't wait to finish this thing. Here are two pics from the phone, I'll have plenty more pictures this weekend.

Clear plexi cover for the electronics box is in

Seadek pad is on. This is the same stuff that you find on wakeboard boats. Everyone told me they thought it wouldn't work, so far they are eating those words. It's really nice on the feet that's for sure.
