Re: Mexican Navy Boards then Sinks Boat off San Quintin (PICS)
Totally unsat IMHO. Tito should be fully compensated with a new and bigger boat. The Mexican Government is not doing anything to enhance tourism and tourism dollars that's for sure. The more I read lately, the less I desire to spend my limited dollars there.

Re: Mexican Navy Boards then Sinks Boat off San Quintin (PICS)
I wanted to mention that my father was one of the men on board. While detained they were given very little food and not enough water to drink. When they were forced to go onto the Navy ship my dad asked if he could get a few bottle waters out of their ice chest, their response was No! My dad, who's a big guy had a hard time getting into their boat as he fell on board and banged up his legs and arms. This is no way to threat Americans who did not violate any laws.

Re: Mexican Navy Boards then Sinks Boat off San Quintin (PICS)
What the hell does that have to do with Mexico? Comments like that just anger me.
This incident was conducted by Mexican Naval personnel on a Mexican registered ship. And on top of that it was against a Mexican skipper. How do you think It whould have gone if it was a private U.S. boat?
When was the last time this happened to someone in U.S. waters by our Coast Guard!
I have been thinking of making a trip again to Mexico after a lot of years have passed. Not any more.

Re: Mexican Navy Boards then Sinks Boat off San Quintin (PICS)
The only way this shit stops is if the tourism dollers stop. The closest I'll get to mainland Mexico is from the deck of my favorite long range boats. I know I'm still paying for permits but at least I take most of the villiage idiots out of the picture. Glad everyone got back safe and I hope Tito gets some kind of justice.

Re: Mexican Navy Boards then Sinks Boat off San Quintin (PICS)
What kills me is they were detained for being there illegally. Yet if we detain anyone for being here illegally we get called all kinds of names.
