4/13-4/17 San Quintin
We said screw it and made the trip in spite of the weather.
Got to Campo Lorenzo at about 3 PM and got the gear set-up for the morning.
It was damp with very little breeze at 7 AM on the ramp.
Plugged the tank with the right sized macs and headed for Isla San Martin.
Slow pick on 2-3# checkers ......til............
8lbs. 1 oz.
I LIKE IT!!
Turned shitty so we headed in.
Sunday blew 30-40, no chance.
Monday we braved it and put some bait on but only needed the frozen squirts.
6-8' swell but "fishable".
Reds cooperated and we headed back around 1PM for early cocktails.
Muchas gracias to Mike ,The "RECYCLED " was a blast to fish on!
