Was wondering if that deckhand on the Intrepid thinks Mexico is safe?

If you have no problems down there you should go and stay.Hell who wouldnt want to live in aplace where government top to bottom is corrupt. All you need to do to stay out of trouble is bribe law enforcement.I got the shakedown once and never intend to go back, enjoy.

I agree. I moved out of California 15 years ago and never looked back. I really like Arizona.

I've had a bunch of problems with Baja! first problem is the airfare farkin expensive. second problem, the fish smoke house per pound cost, is going out of sight. Tequila is still reasonable.

It's obvious Baja is not for everyone. My feeling is that if someone is not comfortable going, they shouldn't. Once I get below San Quentin, I feel as comfortable as I do here. I have forged friendships with many people in Baja and will continue to visit and enjoy the many good things Baja has to offer.
