Ensenada 7-5-10-Lingcod

Girlfriend Paty and I left Ensenada Harbor to gas up the boat at the Marina Coral. Took a couple of rods and caught to nice lingcod and a couple decent sized sand bass in 45 minutes lost a nice red at the boat. All fish caught on megabaits in less than 70 feet of water less than 2 miles from the Marina Coral. Burned 5 gallons of fuel. Also had a nice hit on a trolled rapala after metering some decent sized fish high up in the water column. Heading out tomorrow for who knows what. If weather is nice may take a look offshore if not heading to Punta San Jose or may fish outside of Erendira. Reports from the captains down here are WFO 'cudas outside of Punta Banda.

Keep us posted... SD boats are headed 110 miles south for Albacore.
Wondering if that would be within range from Ensenada? Anywho, good luck out there and be sure to post your report.

If they were south Yes but the fish seem to be west about 80 miles from Ensenada

Nice ling for the fish tacos, but you know we are aching to see the tuna off Ensenada. When's your next trip out there?
