Don't you even say HI anymore?
"Candy"? Sounds kinda kinky to me, but Bob, whatever floats your boat is fine.

mines the 18 volt Milwaukee, plenty of horsepower, if its rusted beyond repair, hold the trigger, snap, no more bolt, replace with new in about 3 seconds. They arent cheap, but they make the work timely and efficient. Tire changes take about 3 minutes and you dont blow an ass gasket aka: pucker string, or break your arms doing it.

one thing I would highly recommend to anyone towing is to make sure you have a red flag or something similar tied on to the back of the boat, usually n the prop.
good observation Jason and thanks for the heads up, my prop only rides 6-7 feet behind the lights

Ceasar doesn't miss many meals and I'd hate to stand between him and his food or my food.

Dinner First Night

WOW! We got a freakin good group going

I misunderstood Capt Juan, when we arrive, he is going to jump on my boat and we will go get dinner for everyone, unless others want to launch as well. I have the channel marked in the bay, but I'm thinkin around 10:30 - 11:30 when we arrive the tide will be low, so he is welcome to come aboard and run my boat if he can stand being around us ass clowns

Anyway, we have someone who knows the bay for the first day upon arrival.

If any of you guys need a guide on your boat, Capt Juan & Jamie are available for $80 bucks a day. What! 80 bucks????? Let me tell you, the first time I ever fished SQ I hired a guide for 50 bucks, got his GPS numbers and sent him back home But, without him I would have been lost.

You first time down - you may want to consider 1 of these guys - you can mark the correct track through the Bahia de San Quintin - that alone is worth 80 bucks - plus they will put you on fish all day If you know how to use your GPS you won't need a guide the second day - but if this is your first time - you may want to consider it.

Important decision here

I want to contact BajaMarita and give her an estimate of the number of people for dinner the first night.

I would like to suggest we just go to Don Eddie's the first night. It is right there next to the Old Mill and they will take care of us. If you are one of those remembering the fiasco last time, BajaMarita has assured me that she will personally make sure that we are treated right

In all fairness - they will I'm sure like to have a little notice if 30 guys are gonna show up for dinner Again, for you first timers - the fish for dinner will be caught that day - it is like 10 or 12 dollars per person for dinner - we provide the fish - they provide the beans/rice/tortillas and maybe a salad - Marita, jump right in here

There will be HOT FRESH COOKED CHIPS AND SALSA or we are fucking going somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have a bar - you buy your own drinks.

Capt Juan said he is going to provide steamers for us all the first night as well, so I have to let him know where we will be eating

Anyhow - is Don Eddie's OK for the first night?

OCD

Can you say OCD.....got this pm from from a crew mate.

Hey J,
Just wanted to call and discuss the trip. Ride down and fishing mostly. Give me a call when you can,

We got 2 weeks or so before we go, he sounded like he was ready to go right now .

Actually I am pretty excited, I have never had a bad trip down there and can't wait to get back.

If anyone that is going for the first time that has questions, please ask. There a many of us that have been there many times.

BTW Harry make sure the Old Mill puts up some saftey stickers and tape on the plate glass windows up on the deck.....
