why no users manual?

What's the problem with wanting a manual? I have been in this ocupation for many years and really don't see why some idiots jump all over someone for wanting one... It's funny, we won an Avet at the BD's tournament and after I removed the reel from the box the next thing I was looking for was the manual... I figured they forgot to put it inside... I am sure everyone knows how to operate the thing but some info would have been nice that's all...So relax you up tight jackasses! Anyway the reel looks and feels good and can't wait to give it a go here in the PV testing grounds.

1. Pick up the phone and call AVET and have them send you one. I'm sure its free.

2. Go to you local tackle shop and ask them how to use it.

3. Check their website.

I'm happy with my Avets and don't work on my own reels so I don't need a manual........

But,

What the hell???

Would having these things in the box not make life easier???

Do you support the no manual cause to save paper????

You guys need to remember that many tackle shops take reels out of the box and put them in the display case and throw the 'empty' box in the back. When they sell you the reel, the dig up A box in the back (not necessarilly THE box) for your reel. This box may or may not have the manual or lube in it if they have been careless in storing the boxes. This is not Avet's fault, it's the store's.

If you get an unopened box, however, there probably should be a manual in it.

All this pissing and moaning misses the point, though, that if you called Avet, they would gladly send you a manual if yours was missing--or you can continue to bitch about it...

Jeeez...no shit!

I have 9 Avets now, actually 10, today I just sent a fellow BD'er some money for a nice used one. I'll have 3 or 4 more before the year is out. 8 were brand new. Each and every one of the new ones came with a manual. Even the used one came with a manual. I don't know if this one I just bought will have a manual. My point is...I have fucking manuals coming out my ears! If you like, I'll send you a few...how many would you like...5 or 6?

Enough with the fucking MANUALS!

Well This looks like a great excuse to go out and buy another Avet. I swear if this ever happens to me i will go out and buy another one and another one untill i get my manual
