In the end the cost of a parking lot banquet and the Sheraton are virtually the same. The parking lot venue is 10 fold the headache. There is a lot of behind the scenes issues. The size of the vendor village is a direct reflection of our economy.

I still think it was more fun at Dana. The Sheraton reminds me of a work convention. On the vendor part, I'm confused......A vendor is going to have to advertise anyway wether it be a page in a mag, a page in a few mags, or whatever. You don't put your name out there you won't get buisness. A couple of grand towards the tournamant that's tax deductable is good advertising. Showing up with a sales rep, your outboard brand and a couple of hot chicks is nickle and dime and gets more return in the long run. Crap there's about five buisness right there that can capatolize on a parking lot full of fishermen and boat owners.My boat don't run on "Thanks".
