2010 Yellowtail Shootout Results

The 2010 Yellowtail Shootout had 55 boats and 191 anglers compete for just under $17,000 in cash and $10,000 in prizes for a total prize purse of just over $27,000

1st Place - Tail Chasers - 32.7 lbs

Prize: $3,000 cash for 1st place. 4 days and 3 nights at Hotel Buena Vista in East Cape, Avet EX-30, 1 Year Subscription to Fish Dope and a 45lb yellowtail mount from Worldwide Fish Mounts. Tail Chasers was also in all three jackpots and took home an additional $10,440 in cash. At the end of the day, they walked away $13,440 in cash and $3,000 in prizes.

2nd Place - Hula Girl - 28.3 lbs

Prize: $1500 cash, Garmin GPS Map 541S from West Marine, Avet HX, a 35 lb yellowtail mount from Worldwide Fish Mounts and a 1 year subscription to Fish Dope.

3rd Place - Tuna Kahuna - 25.9 lbs

Prize: $600 cash, set of 3 rods from Nim Custom Rods and a 25 lb yellowtail mount from Worldwide Fish Mounts.

4th Place - Paddy Wackers - 23.9 lbs
Prize: $450 cash, Avet JX and Hot Rail Fighting Belt

5th Place - Lucky Bastards - 23.5 lbs
Prize: $300 cash, Avet SX and a pair of Kaenon Sunglasses.

6th Place - Tail Chasers - 22.9 lbs
Prize: $250 cash and a Avet SX.

7th - 8th Place (Tie)- Lip Ripper and Fish Finders - 22.2 lbs
Prize: $150 cash, a Grafttech Rod and a Open Water Tackle Bag.

Dash for Cash - Team McLovin
Prize: $1500 in gift certificiates at Dana Landing.
